Although the largest market is on Saturday, there is a very wide range of wares available throughout the week in the Plaza de los Ponchos, and the many local shops. The shops sell textiles such as handmade blankets, tablecloths, and much more…

COTOPAXI NATIONAL PARK

Cotopaxi National Park is conveniently accessible from Quito, Ecuador’s capital, making it an ideal destination for day trips or extended explorations. The park is open year-round, but the best time to visit is during the dry season, from June to September, when the skies are clearest.

RELAX IN PAPALLACTA

 

Papallacta, famous for its volcanic springs in the midst of a stunning environment of forests and slopes. Termas de Papallacta is located on the eastern side of the Andes and is considered to be the entrance to the Amazon. These hot springs are located at 3,000 meters above the sea level and are surrounded by mountain cloud forest. Papallacta boasts a variety of pools of different temperature, whose water is odourless and colourless, known for its healing properties.
